NYSC Mobilization

The mobilization of graduates to serve the country is done yearly by the board of directors of  NYSC. When new graduates are released from the different tertiary institutions across Nigeria,  the NYSC board commences the mobilization of candidates who are qualified for service as listed on the candidate’s institution’s senate list. However,  candidates listed on the senate list must declare interest in serving the father’s land via NYSC online registration or decline the offer. Alternatively, candidates can request for NYSC exemption letter. Candidates will not be mobilised if no one files the form.  This simply shows that no one is interested in serving the country if it happens.

Latest News on NYSC Registration

Following the NYSC online registration of new candidates,  the board held a meeting to discuss the way forward for the members. This single act shows that the body conducting and overseeing this activity is hell-bent on making it easy for prospective candidates.

Therefore,  we previously wrote an article on the NECO news updates to also notify the general public of the recent happening in the education examination board.

Furthermore,  on the NYSC registration update,  the board has agreed that the registration of new candidates will commence on 29th January 2024.

The date above is when the portal will open for candidates of the 2024/2025 academic session to register.

However,  after the registration closes,  the mobilization of serving members will commence.

Bear in mind that the mobilization of new service members happens in batches from A to C and streams 1 to 2.  This makes it easier for a reduced number of members to be sent to the camp and for service thereby making the system more flexible and helping the members to not suffocate due to population.

Required Documents for NYSC Online Registration

To register for NYSC both online and online you must provide the documents in the list below:

1. Recent passport photographs
2. WAEC original certificate
3. NIN
4. University/institution Statement of result
5. Covid 19 test slip
6. Birth certificate
7. School/final year ID card
8. NYSC green card

NYSC Registration Form 2024

The NYSC registration form is released for interested graduates to apply to go for service.

However,  these candidates must meet the requirements and standards set by the board to proceed.  Also,  the registration must happen before the portal closes.

Additionally,  there are different ways you can register for service;

Before that,  you must know that once the portal for registration closes,  it affects both online and offline registration as even the offline registration is 60% online.

How to Register for NYSC Online

The NYSC online registration is possible on mobile phones, laptops,  and any other devices.

All that the candidates need is an internet-enabled device.

However,  candidates must be sure that when they are about to commence their registration, the e-portal is still open, or else, they may face difficulty.

That said,  candidates can follow the steps below to register for your NYSC online;

• Open the registration portal to begin

• Select the registration form (not to register on the portal)

• Candidates can also download the registration form and print it to fill out  manually

• Submit your scanned documents in the accurate spaces for them

• Click on the submit button to send your form for review to the board

To register for NYSC offline, download the registration form and print it to fill out manually submit your documents to the physical office, or upload them online.
