About Federal University, Dutse (FUD)
The Federal University, Dutse (FUD) was established in 2011 along with Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI), and other Federal Universities by the Federal Government of Nigeria. FUD campus is located in the ancient town of Dutse, the capital of Jigawa state of Nigeria, and offers various undergraduate and postgraduate (PGDE, MSc, and PhD) academic programs. How to check FUD admission status
You can check your admission status at the Federal University, Dutse (FUD) on the JAMB portal. If you are admitted, then you have to either accept or reject the admission given to you. If you accept the admission, then you will proceed to make the acceptance fee payment.
How much is the FUD acceptance fee amount?
Before I proceed to answer this question, I would like to let you know what the acceptance fee is and why you are asked to pay the acceptance fee. FUD Acceptance fee is the fee paid by candidates who gained an admission slot into the university which is used to process the admission. All successfully admitted candidates in the Federal University Dutse (FUD) admissions exercise (100 Level and Direct Entry) are expected to pay a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000) only. This fee must be paid before you can print an admission notification letter and other related admission documents. Please note: This fee is subject to change, I advise you to visit this portal always to ensure you have the correct FUD acceptance fee amount before you proceed to make payment since this fee is non-refundable.
FUD Registration Procedure
- Visit myportal.fud.edu.ng and log in using your JAMB registration number and state of origin (in capital letters) as your password.
- Click on the “School Fees” tab to generate a payment invoice. Choose either the “Full Payment” or “Part Payment” plan.
- Click the Remita logo to pay online with a debit card or print an invoice receipt to pay at FUD Microfinance or any commercial bank.
- After payment, generate your registration number.
- Log out and log back in using your new registration number as your username and password.
- Change your password to a strong one (a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters).
- Upload your passport photo and update your bio-data.
- Download necessary forms, such as the clinic form, from the “Downloadable” tab.
- Register for semester courses under “Course Registration.” Consult your level coordinator for guidance on courses to register for.
- Reserve bed space by clicking on “Hostel” if you need accommodation.
FUD Acceptance Fee Payment Procedure on FUD payment portal
- Visit the FUD payment portal at putme.fud.edu.ng.
- Log in using your JAMB number as the username and your state of origin as the password.
- Click on the “Admission Status” tab to pay your acceptance fees.
- Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
- Use the RRR number to pay the N2,000 acceptance fee with an acceptable debit card.
- Print your Remita and acceptance receipts.
- Present your receipts to the faculty accountant for verification and certification before proceeding to your department.
- Bring your credentials to your department for screening and collection of your admission letter.
- After verification by the Head of the Department, complete the registration process at myportal.fud.edu.ng by paying your registration fees.
