In line with the Board’s regulated registration exercise, only the accredited Computer Based Test Centres and JAMB States, and FCT Offices will be allowed to register candidates.

When JAMB sends the examination center and date

Check the Examination center via the JAMB portal
JAMB portal enables candidates to perform all necessary activities from registration, examination centers, and checking JAMB results to checking admission status. To check your JAMB exam center and date, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the JAMB center and date checker portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/ExamSlipPrinting/PrintExaminationSlip
- Enter your JAMB registration number in the provided field
- Click on the “Print” button to print your exam slip
- On the exam slip, you will find the date, time, and location of your JAMB exam, as well as your subject combination
Check the Examination center and exam time via Email
During JAMB registration, you are required to provide your valid email address and phone number. Once registered, JAMB will send you messages from time to time. Therefore, you can check your mailbox regularly for examination center messages.

What to take to the JAMB Examination Centre
Here are some items that you should consider taking to the JAMB examination center:
- JAMB registration slip: This is the most important document that you need to bring to the examination center. It contains important information about your examination, including your registration number and the date and time of your examination.
- Valid government-issued identification: You will need to bring a valid government-issued identification, such as a National Identity Card or International Passport, to the examination center. This is to confirm your identity and ensure that you are the person registered to take the examination.
- Writing materials: You will be provided with writing materials, such as pens and pencils, at the examination center. However, it is always a good idea to bring your own writing materials as a backup, just in case.
