To check your NECO result online on the portal,  you must first be done with the examination.

Consequently,  you cannot be pushed to check a result when the examination is not done yet so when your NECO examination is done,  you can proceed to check your result.

However,  you must have the items below to be able to check your result;

1. NECO scratch card:  the school of exam centre gives this to the candidates at the time of the examination
2. The scratch card pin which you can find at the back of the scratch card after carefully scratching the area
3. Candidates exam number:  This is the number candidates write on their exam papers at the time of the examination
4. Serial number:  you can find this at the front of your scratch card,  usually contains numbers and alphabets

If you already have your scratch card then proceed to check your result online by following the steps below;

1. Open the NECO result checker portal to begin
2. Provide your exam information as listed above in the spaces allocated to them
3. Provide your exam year and exam type (internal or external candidates)
4. Click on the submit button to send your request
5. Wait for a while for the page to load and you will see your result on the page
