List of Universities that Accept Low JAMB Scores for Admission 2023: A lot of students face the challenge of low JAMB scores despite the time & resources spent and effort made during JAMB UTME preparations. This can be annoying. We have heard stories of people who almost committed suicide due to failure to secure admission into tertiary institutions after several attempts due to cut-off marks. However, there is good news. JAMB has lowered their cut-off marks for universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.

Moreover, from years of experience as an admission consultant, merit admission into specific courses requires a particular JAMB score to stand a  chance of securing entry into the university. This is mainly for professional courses.

However, most universities have lowered their eligibility criteria, especially regarding JAMB scores and institutional cut-off marks. This is aimed at admitting more students who will uphold the standard which has already been set over the years. Normally, students have the responsibility of studying hard to make a very good JAMB score in order to secure admission into their dream university, but that doesn’t really mean that you can’t get admission with a low JAMB score.
