It can also result from no interest in the already registered course. However, note that candidates who perform a change of institution must make the institution their first choice during the registration process.

How to Apply for JAMB Change of Course or Institution

To apply for JAMB change of course or institution, carefully take the following steps:

Firstly, launch your favourite browser on your device
Kindly visit the Jamb portal at www.jamb.gov.ng/E-facility portal login
To log into your account, enter your email address and password
Then, click on login to access your JAMB profile.
Click on “Application for Correction of Data”. This service is available by the left sidebar or on the home page
Now, select the institution/Course option on the drop-down menu
Select the exam year, and enter your registration Number
Select your payment method, most preferably Remita
Click on “Pay with Remita”
Preview and confirm the information. Make sure that the data intended for correction corresponds correctly.
Click on the “Pay Now” button
Once the payment is made, you will be required to provide (i) the year of the exam and, (ii) the JAMB registration Number.
After this information has been correctly provided, new options for the preferred institution/Course, first and second choices will appear.
Make your corrections and click on Submit.
JAMB will process your application and corrections will be made appropriately.
Print the slip and document it.
