Most Nigerian Universities prioritize JAMB results as one of the major requirements for being admitted into the institution. Therefore, only students who are willing to register and write the entrance examination can be accessed into Nigerian Universities.
JAMB Form Sales
The JAMB form for the 2023/2024 academic section is not officially on sale, but with previous experiences, it is expected to be sold from January 2024. This simply means that students who want to purchase the JAMB form would exercise patience till next year.
Deadline for 2023/2024 JAMB Application

JAMB Registration Centers (Where You Can Register for JAMB UTME)
JAMB UTME can be registered at any Approved CBT Center nearest to you. It is important to note that you cannot register at any random CBT centre. Also, note that there is no offline registration will be allowed. Any student who registers aside JAMB Approved centres will be automatically disqualified.
Requirements for JAMB UTME 2024/2025 Application
The following are the requirements needed for a successful JAMB registration
- An active email address
- A phone number
- O’level Result (optional)
- National Identification Number (NIN)
- E-pin
How to Apply for the 2024/2025 JAMB Registration
You can successfully register for the 2023/2024 JAMB using the following guidelines below:
- Create an Email Address
- Get a phone number from any network of your choice (MTN, GLO, AIRTEL, 9MOBILE)
- Register with NIMC to get your National Identification Number (NIN)
- Create a JAMB profile on JAMB’s official website
- Buy your e-pin from any JAMB approved sales-point
- Head to any JAMB registration centre to complete your registration

Create an Active Email Address
Email is one of the most important requirements in the JAMB application. It is with this email that you will be able to create your JAMB profile and also to access other necessary information if need be.
Now you have seen how vital email is. It is cool, right? Yeah! if you do not have an email address you can create one majorly Gmail account (example: username@gmail.com) but if you have an already existing active email, there’s no need to create another.
Get a Phone Number from any Network of your Choice
It is your phone number that enables you to request a JAMB profile code which will then be used to purchase your JAMB e-pin necessary for your registration.
This phone number can only be used by one student and it is through it that your JAMB result will be sent to you, which means that it serves as means of communication from JAMB to you.
It is important to note that you cannot use the same email address you have used to register JAMB before twice!
Register with NIMC to get your National Identification Number (NIN)
JAMB has made National Identification Number (NIN) a compulsory requirement for JAMB registration therefore, you must have one.
Kindly Go to any NIN registration centre close to you with the following requirements:
- Birth certificate
- Local Government Identification Letter

Create a JAMB profile
In this section, you shall learn how to create a JAMB profile quickly. To begin this process;
- Go to your Message App.
- Type NIN, give space, then the 11 digits of your NIN and send to 55019 0r 66019. for example (NIN 212345678934). To send this message, you must have at least N50 airtime.
- When you have sent this message, a profile code of 10 digits number will be sent to you on the same phone number.
- It is this profile code you will then use to purchase your e-pin at the Bank, NIPOST or any other approved e-pin sales point.

Buy your e-pin from any JAMB approved sales-point
Since you now have your JAMB Profile code with you, you can proceed to any of the following e-pin sales points to purchase your e-pin. They include:
- NIPOST office
- Participating BANKS such as Sterling, Polaris, Union, Firstbank, Jaiz, TAJ, UNITY Bank
- Mobile Money Operators, Microfinance Banks and other approved sales outlets
- Foreign Students Head to Nigerian Embassy for guidelines on how to Apply
After payment, your E-pin will be sent to you Via SMS to the same phone number. You can also buy JAMB ePIN online.
Go to any JAMB Registration Centre to Complete your Registration
After you have successfully made your payment and obtained your e-pin using the procedure above, you are to visit any JAMB Approved Registration centre nearest to you to complete your registration.
At the registration centre, you Must present your Personal details, Profile code and e-pin. Your Photograph and Biometrics will also be fully captured.
It is important to note that:
- A Service fee 0f N1000 which is to be paid at the Registration Centre is now part of the Registration fee and for that reason, you’re not expected to pay any other charge for JAMB Registration.
- You Must provide your choice of Institution and course of study
- You Must provide your O’Level result. Candidates with awaiting result must upload them Immediately appears in JAMP portal
- You Must provide UTME Subjects and choice of examination town for:
- JAMB Exmination proper
- Mock Examination
- You Must review your data entries to confirm the correctness
- Print the Registration slip using your Biometrics Authentication to confirm Valid fingerprints
- The e-slip serves as proof of payment
