Recently, the members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), requested that the government increase their allowance.

NYSC Reaction to Allowance Increase Request
After the members of NYSC requested that their salary be increased, the NYSC officials came out to advise them to remove their minds from such thoughts.
Consequently, there is not going to be any NYSC Salary increase despite the NYSC allowance increase proposal from the members, the board officials are adamant and advise members to make do with what they have.
There is no further explanation as to why the board said such but it is clear that, for any increase to happen with the NYSC salary of members, it is going to be later and not sooner.
