Borno State University Post UTME Requirements

The Borno State University has set up specific requirements that Prospective candidates must meet in order to secure admission into BOSU. However, these requirements include:

  • Applicants must take part in the 2023 JAMB UTME
  • Applicants must have a minimum score of 150 in JAMB. See JAMB cut-off marks.
  • Candidates must choose Borno State University as their first choice during JAMBregistration
  • Candidates must score a minimum cut-off mark for the programme they applied.
  • Prospective candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credits at O’Level in related subjects including English and Mathematics.
  • In addition to a minimum of five (5) credits (Including English and Mathematics), Direct Entry (DE) candidates must score a minimum of 9 points or Merit in NCE, Second class upper in a degree, or least lower credit in ND/HND.
  • Applicants with awaiting results must upload their O’Level results on the JAMBportal as soon as possible. Those who fail to do so will be denied admission.
  • Also, candidates with awaiting results must indicate Awaiting Result (AR) in the screening form
